All-Sleeper Team

6’7″ 2024 Braylon Wenger (IMG Academy Select)

23 PPG & 5.5 RPG with 5 made 3’s in 2 games against Massanutten Military and Combine Post-Grad. Wenger was able to create mismatches with his sturdy 6’7″ frame and inside-out skillset, knowing when to utilize each of his tools depending on the matchup/situation. He could end up being a steal for someone.

6’4″ 2024 Isiah Cameron (Wilson Academy)

Wilson Academy went 2-0 and Cameron averaged 15.5 PPG & 8 RPG. He is able to play multiple positions and doesn’t need the ball a lot to make an impact. He was particularly impressive with how he used his strength & athleticism to help negate a size disadvantage against Word Of God on Saturday night.

6’10” 2024 Kean Webb (Golden State Prep)

Webb proved to be one of the event’s better rebounders during Golden State’s 3 games, averaging 10.3 RPG. He has reliable hands and showed good feet & mobility for a player of his size. His best game came on the final day, where Golden State matched up with a Mt. Zion team that featured multiple bigs.

6’8″ 2024 D’Shay Knights-Wright (Polaris Prep)

Knights-Wright was consistent for Polaris and averaged 12 PPG & 5.3 RPG in their 3 games. He can stretch the floor at 6’8″ with ball-handling & shooting, play physically, and guard different spots. I liked how he played off of his teammates and kept a consistent level of energy during the weekend.

6’2″ 2024 Dylan Omweno (Combine Post-Grad)

Omweno really stepped up for Combine on Friday night in a good battle with Golden State Prep. He finished with 17 points on 5 made 3’s and also made a nice impact on the defensive end, racking up 4 steals. He’s a long, athletic 6’2″ guard who can shoot off the dribble and plays with a lot of confidence.

6’4″ 2024 Carter Wesson (Fork Union Military)

Wesson’s deadeye shooting ability has been on display at multiple events this winter. This quality was most evident on Saturday against Golden State Prep. He has great form and doesn’t need any space to get his shot off, hitting a couple 3’s while defenders were right there with a hand up. He has also shown a blend of toughness & athleticism that helps him him when rebounding and finishing around the basket.

6’3″ 2024 Stark Jones (Massanutten Military)

Jones was an efficient, low-maintenance piece for Massanutten in their 2 wins, averaging 12 PPG. He capitalized on opportunities when the defense keyed in on some of Massanutten’s other guys and moved off the ball well to make things easy on himself. He made 3 3’s in their first game and was effective cutting to the basket on Sunday.

6’8″ 2024 Ewan Steele (Polaris Prep)

Steele made positive contributions off the bench throughout the weekend for Polaris, averaging 9 PPG & 5.7 RPG. He’s a strong 6’8″ with some explosiveness as a leaper, shooting ability, and a good motor. There was not a drop-off when they went to him each game.
