Our 1st college coach guest, Drew Gibson from Navy, joins us in Episode 5. Gibson played at Wofford where he was a 1,000-point, 500-assist and All-Conference player for the Terriers, and then played overseas for multiple years before transitioning into coaching. He started his coaching career at Wofford as the Director Of Basketball Operations, then was the top assistant at Augusta for 2 years, and now just completed his 1st season at Navy as an assistant coach. Gibson speaks with us about his coaching path so far, gaining experience and learning from well-respected coaches, the Service Academy aspect of Navy, how he’s adjusting during the coronavirus pandemic, and concludes with some advice for HS prospects.
