2022 PG Bruce Thornton of Milton announced his Top 5 schools last Sunday with Indiana, Purdue, UGA, Ohio State, and Alabama making the cut. Thornton is our #1 ranked prospect in Georgia for 2022 and has established himself as a Top 25 prospect in the country. Throughout his first 2 years of high school, Thornton has developed a reputation as a tough, winning floor general who does just about everything at PG. He is a physically-imposing guard with a great mixture of skill and intangibles; these qualities helped lead Milton to a Final 4 appearance last season and has many thinking that they’re one of the favorites to win the GHSA 7A State Championship in 2020-21.
